<p>The original cast member to play Sister Aloysius in the Broadway production (2005) of John Patrick Shanley's <em>Doubt, A Parable</em> was <strong>Cherry Jones</strong>.&nbsp; The other original cast members were Br&iacute;an F. O'Byrne as Father Flynn, Heather Goldenhersh as Sister James, and Adriane Lenox as Mrs. Muller.<br /><br />The New York production, directed by Doug Hughes, was performed in one act, running approximately 90 minutes. In interviews, the cast said the second act was what took place when the audience left the theatre and began to discuss their differing opinions of the events &mdash; some agreeing with Aloysius and others siding with Flynn.</p>

<p>Ludwig van Beethoven's <strong>Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano in C major, Op. 56</strong>, more commonly known as the <strong>Triple Concerto</strong>, was composed in 1803 and later published in 1804 under Breitkopf &amp; H&auml;rtel. The choice of the three solo instruments effectively makes this a concerto for piano trio and the only concerto Beethoven ever wrote for more than one solo instrument.</p>

<p>Beethoven wrote <strong>one opera</strong>, <em>Fidelio</em>(written 1805, revised 1806 and 1814).&nbsp; In the story, a faithful wife rescues her husband who is being held as a political prisoner. Originally titled <em>Lenore</em>, Beethoven composed four overtures for it, Lenore No.1, No.2, and No.3, and Fidelio.&nbsp; It is one of your editor's favorites because the hero is a woman and the opera has a happy ending!</p>
